We had a great stay at this hotel on Saturday! |Easy access to downtown. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was kind and friendly, the shared areas (pool, gym) were very clean.||Love to comeback and stay here again.

Cute little rooms with a layout that makes them seem much bigger. Loved our stay. We usually stay at the Staybridge Suites Middleton Madison but were so happy with this location and the facility! I will return!

I’ve stayed here for 2 weeks(with my dog) and have had no complaints. This is a great place to stay. It’s in a great location, it’s CLEAN, staff is friendly, bed is super comfortable, shower is good. They also have a great breakfast, however, they do a lot of Mexican style breakfasts and I prefer the traditional. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay, again. We stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bath suite - separate bedrooms with doors; living room, kitchen. Our suite was clean and orderly, the beds were very comfortable, and the room and the floor were quiet. Since COVID, there are some noticeable changes, such as, no pens or note paper in the room, no information book about the hotel, amenities or nearby businesses, no TV channel guide in the room. However, these changes were minor, considering the many good things about Homewood Suites Madison West.||All the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming - front desk, breakfast food workers, housekeeping.||Their free hot breakfast is consistently good, as it was before COVID. The weekend selections were especially wonderful, plentiful, with wide variety of selections. Lots of fresh fruit to choose from, excellent fresh, cut melon and pineapple; their coffee is excellent. Make your own Belgian waffle, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, bagels, bread for toast, danishes, and more. The staff were working hard, and the entire breakfast food area was clean and tidy. Many hotels have severely limited or eliminated their free hot breakfasts, but we were so very thankful that Homewood Suites has continued to provide their customers with a free hot breakfast, and of such good quality and variety.||The bathtub and shower had a grab bar - something I wish all hotels would have in their bathtubs and showers. Plenty of fluffy, white towels, and the beds were very comfortable. My sink drained very slowly, but that's the only inconvenience we experienced during our stay.||It was a busy time in the hotel (the American Family golf tournament was being played) and yet our floor was very quiet. The Homewood Suites Madison West is located in a very good location - close to the highway, close to countless stores and near West Towne Mall. We have stayed here in the past, but it had been a while since COVID. We're so glad that Homewood Suites Madison West continues to be a wonderful place to stay and look forward to returning again in the future.

Really enjoyed our weekend stay here at this property! The property is very well maintained and it is a lovely welcome right from the entrance. All of the staff are very friendly. We stayed in a 2 Bed (King), 2 Bath property. The rooms were really clean and neat and made our stay very comfortable. Basic toiletries are included :). Our special request on booking for a porta-cot was noted and in our room when we checked-in. The buffet breakfast had a great selection for everyone and the staff attending to the bfast were so friendly and helpful. Great location too - approx 20 mins to all key locations we wanted to visit in and around Madison!

Bad things - INTERNET WAS GARBAGE. Likely will cost me a client while on business travel. Couldn't make cell phone calls because signal reception is bad in building. Yeah that last thing isn't on them, but if the internet was worth a damn it wouldn't be needing to be noted.

Good things - Room is very nice and well maintained. Things are a bit outdated for Hilton, but workable and comfortable. Staff was super nice and location held a social for 2
Hours where beer and wine were involved with a charcuterie snack spread. Breakfasts were amazing too.

The issue overall was I came in for the EPIC conference. Wound up having to do a Teams meeting with staff back at office and the internet couldn't handle it. Had to follow up with a client on Teams with a 1 on 1 and yet again stuttering audio and video. Tried zoom and even facetime. No bueno. Front staff gave me premium which only bumped up speed lightly but still NOT workable. It's 2024 Homewood. Feel bad for the veteran's I met that are here long term for transplant operations at the UW. That they aren't able to easily contact families and do telehealth properly.
