The wood floors could be cleaner and that's the only bad thing about this place. Otherwise, the check in desk guy here is nice and accommodating. Our freezer in the fridge was frozen over and they brought us a better refrigerator as soon as they could. And the maintenance guy let me know to call the front desk if I needed anything else. Very nice people! This motel is located within walking distance of everything you need. Walmart is across the way and there is a dollar store (can't remember if it's a dollar general or just a dollar store)in this area too. You also have a good selection of restaurants and fast food in this area too. There are also a couple of convenience stores that are in the same area as the motel, very short walking distance. If you're looking for a cheaper and safer motel this is one of them. Bring batteries, if the ones in your remote hardly work the guy that works the desk in the evening will not give you batteries for their remote controls for their TV.. you will have to buy your own and remove your batteries that you buy for their remote out of it since they will not replace them.

Great motel if you’re passing through the greater Texas area. Friendly staff, rooms are clean, and the prices are fair. Would recommend a non smoking room over smoking.

Rooms come pre occupied. As I was eating this thing literally crawls on my food. We shared both the room and a meal. So if your feeling lonely book here. If you like roaches this is the place to stay.

We checked in, unloaded our things (which included my mobility scooter which is a pain) the room smelled like tobacco smoke but I have spray so I let that pass, then we were about to settle in and found what looked like a bed where a big, very hairy dog wallowed over the pillows, sheets and bedspread, it was soooo disgusting. We went back to either change rooms or get them to change the bedding but there was no housekeeping on duty and no lower level rooms. They did refund our money but those things should have been caught by housekeeping not customers.

The beds were uncomfortable( should have slept on the floor) and the sheets& blankets were stained. Thankfully we brought our own blankets and pillows and just put them over what was already there. The bathroom had hair all over it. There was mud and trash in a corner of the room. The heater was on in the room when we checked in at 8 pm so it took forever for it to cool off in late June! We will never stay here again.

The rooms did seem clean with no issues with the room. The only thing is we went for breakfast and housekeeping was already in our room when we got back. Check out isn't till 11 please stay out till then. I would have understood if I had returned the key but if not then I'm still using it, I feel like I'm paid till 11.

The room smelled like dog. (Non smoking, double queen bed) Needs to be thoroughly cleaned. I couldn't pin point where the smell was coming from but I would guess the curtains and bed covers, especially when I pulled back the curtain and saw the window. It was covered in dog snout and tongue prints.

The amount of people just walking around in the neighborhood made me nervous. I was constantly up checking to make sure my vehicles weren't broken into. There is a gas station, Walmart, Greyhound bus stop, and several other stores in the area.

The only plus is the shower had great, hot water pressure and the towels were thick and clean. Even though there was some mildew in the shower grout that needs to be bleached as well.

Now don't get me wrong this is an older motel and you can tell it has been renovated, but housekeeping needs help.

Can't speak to breakfast, because we overslept the first day and left way to early the second day to go for it.

Staff was super friendly parking was very easy to navigate location. It was close to food and shopping centers as for the room beds were clean AC worked amazing the restroom does need some remodeling there is a pool. It just needs to be clean properly.
