Wish I could give a zero. My family has been staying in motel 6s off and on for 7 yrs as we travel from Ohio to FL & back every few years, and THIS MOTEL 6 WAS THE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN!! COCKROACH INVESTED & DIRTY! We took a step in the room, saw the cockroaches crawling around on the floor, turned right back out, and asked for a different room. Checked the 2nd room and SAME EXACT CONDITION! COCKROACHES ALIVE AND CRAWLING FEARLESSLY ACROSS THE FLOOR & THE ROOM WAS DIRTY! We demanded a refund of the $324 we literally just paid 15 minutes before, and the guy behind the desk would not give our money back! We paid for 3 days and didn't even stay 1 minute. The man at the front desk told us that he dropped the cash in the safe and because his manager wasn't in, he couldn't refund us until Monday. WE JUST TALKED TO THE GM ROBERT (HE REFUSED TO GIVE HIS LAST NAME), AND HE REFUSES TO REFUND US OUR CASH! HE CLAIMS HE HAS TO SEND A CHECK IN 2 WEEKS!! I'VE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING!! CONTACTING MOTEL 6 HIGHER UPS & POSSIBLY THE AUTHORITIES.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Motel 6 in Lakeland, FL. The experience was nothing short of horrific, and I feel compelled to share the details.

Filthy Conditions Upon entering the room, it was immediately apparent that cleanliness was not a priority. The rooms were filthy, with splatters of residue on the walls and floors that had clearly not been cleaned in a long time.

Pest Infestation To make matters worse, the room was infested with roaches. This is unacceptable for any establishment, especially one that claims to provide lodging for guests.

Broken Amenities The amenities were also in disrepair. The TV did not work, and the sink was broken. Additionally, the beds were moldy and appeared to be broken as well, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

Lack of Professionalism The level of professionalism and customer service was non-existent. Staff members seemed indifferent to the issues raised by guests and provided no assistance or solutions.

Unsafe Environment Furthermore, the railings and balcony were not level or safe. This poses a significant risk to guests who may be using these areas.

In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this location to run far away and keep their money. A night spent in your car in the middle of the desert would be a better option than enduring such deplorable conditions. Definitely does not deserve one star.

I was shocked how clean and well kept the rooms were. They remodeled the bathroom toilet and shower along with the sink is beautiful clean and comfortable. I would definitely get another room there 1 day. And the prices was very affordable. Only thing is the beds were super hard and the sheets had burn holes and spotted up bad. I would say they should get more linen and they will be on point. I rather sleep on a hard bed with clean sheets anyday

At the motel 6 the staff are very nice have very good customer service skills. But there's a problem they were very quick to resolve it the place was quiet the room was clean the bedroom is very comfortable and it is very convenient location it's around restaurants stores gas station bus station. I would definitely visit but I'll just sucks it again.

Positive: Convenience Negative: The room phone didn't work to the front desk, no towels 1st night until 10am next morning, Rowdys talking/yelling loudly on upper mezzanine into the early morning hours and downstairs as well.

Child in had roaches and smelled heavily of nasty cigarettes after requesting a non smoking room. Their was trash pilled-up outside of our door as we approached our room I would not was your money here. The molding should the bath tub alls was covered in mold.

Multiple pleasent stays. The budget-friendly room was spacious and accommodating. Ample parking. The hot water was well tempered with comforting heat and satisfying pressure from both faucet and shower head. Adequate one-flush toilet, not too low in height and with good room to wipe. AC was cold and crisp, relatively silent and continuous throughout the evening. There was a door for the adjoining room we didn't use. Noise isolation was decent didn't hear any neighbors' noise from occupied rooms. Each bed had two firm and two soft pillows. Sheets clean white appearance, no indication of bed bugs or pests. Felt safe to be barefoot, floors clean, and clear of grime. The chair was sturdy, yet light enough to move to porch walkway area. The built-in furniture table desk dresser combo had shelving and cubbies and space for two to eat (didn't try to sit on it). Wall mounted TV didn't check for streaming services or game console(s) or component attachments access. Don't recall if there was a microwave or coffee machine (sorry I wasn't thinking about reviews). Good stays would do again.

Loved the location. The employees were very friendly and helpful to us. Everyone was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to fulfill their promise to us. We will certainly be visiting again. Can't wait to see you guys next year.
